WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Theoretically, social media has 2.3 billion users. 91% of retail brands use two or three different social networks to interact with consumers. The optimal time to post is the key to maximizing engagement with their target audience. ⠀

But the question that everybody had been asking is, what's the best time to post on social media?⠀

When I started doing social media management and marketing, I too asked the same question. I had done some research and found different answers that left me even more confused.

Is there really a "best time" to post, and when is it? The answer is, there is. But it depends on your audience. It's not a one-size-fits-all. You have to test it yourself and see what time your audience engages best with your post. And the way to do this is by checking your insights. ⠀

There are many different ways to check your social media platforms.. Here are some great tips from the two largest platforms used:

Instagram has a great section known as "Insights". With Instagram Insights from the Instagram app, you can tell the days when your followers are most active and the average times they’re on Instagram on a typical day.

Facebook has a wonderfully easy feature within the Facebook business suites section where it will let you know when the most active time for your Facebook following is based on the analytics from the days/weeks prior!

Remember, Social Media changes almost daily, so it is good to keep on top of how your profiles and audience are interacting with each other!

In 2018, Tanya went on maternity leave after having her first child and began working a few hours remotely from home, and that was an eye-opener in the way she saw employment. Being able to still help people within their business and still be home with her family felt like she won the lottery! Then Covid-19 had spread to the States, and business halted… for everyone. We all were hearing of small businesses closing doors, and people's lives changing practically overnight. The heartbreak she felt for these people engulfed her. At that moment Tanya began researching how she could turn the skills that she had, her ability to learn & adapt to new things. Her desire to help people through this catastrophe, and support small businesses in her community was to ensure that they could keep their heads above water. After helping nearly a dozen businesses within her community stay afloat, Tanya has now taken these skills and turned it into her profession. Tanya's main goals and passions are to see your small business grow and thrive… because when you grow, we all grow.
